About The 8Wise® Project CIC

The 8Wise® Project CIC exists to help people manage the overwhelm caused by modern life through structured, psychology-led wellbeing and life-management support. We recognise that many wellbeing and mental health challenges do not happen in isolation. They are often connected to increasing life pressure, stress-inducing life events, overwhelm, burnout, uncertainty, financial strain, relationship difficulties, workplace pressures, and the growing demands of modern living. The 8Wise Project CIC provides structured, practical, psychologically-informed support designed to help people better understand and manage these pressures before they have a deeper impact on wellbeing, quality of life, relationships, confidence, and employment. Our work is built around the 8Wise® Method — a psychology-led life management framework developed by Psychotherapist Kim Rutherford to help people: • recognise pressure more clearly • reduce overwhelm • restore mental capacity • improve emotional wellbeing • develop healthier ways of managing life and work We deliver support through: • wellbeing education • community projects • workshops & masterclasses • practical tools & resources • mental health awareness initiatives • structured wellbeing programmes • organisational and community partnerships At the heart of our work is a simple belief: When pressure builds and life becomes overwhelming and difficult to manage, people need understanding, structure, practical support, and healthier systems — not judgement.
