Aalo Atomics
We build mass-manufactured nuclear plants that will power anything from a datacenter to a large city.
About Aalo Atomics
Aalo Atomics designs and builds factory-manufactured nuclear power plants for data centers, industry, and cities. AI infrastructure requires firm, high-density power on timelines the existing grid cannot support. The Aalo Pod delivers it as a complete modular power plant, mass-manufactured in a factory and sited directly at the load. In July 2026, the Aalo Critical Test Reactor achieved first criticality at Idaho National Laboratory as part of the U.S. Department of Energy's Reactor Pilot Program. Construction of the pilot Aalo-X full-power 10 MWe power plant is underway. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Aalo pairs nuclear scientists, engineers, and operators with builders from technology, defense, and manufacturing to eventually achieve 3¢/kWh nuclear electricity at scale, growing from 2 people to 200 in three years with $300M+ raised and an operational factory. Energy without limits, for everyone.
