Abu Dhabi Biobank is a foundational resource for global life sciences research: purpose-built to power the next generation of discoveries and deliver precise, preventive, and predictive care. A strategic initiative between the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and M42, Abu Dhabi Biobank connects biological data with genomic, clinical, and AI-driven insights to decode complex diseases, accelerate clinical research, and shift care from reactive to proactive. Advancing discovery from life's origin to lifelong health, our capabilities are the first and largest of their kind in the region: spanning a pan human biobank, a hybrid cord blood bank, a tumour bank, and a specialised eye bank, all underpinned by advanced biobanking infrastructure that ensures sample integrity, traceability, and viability for decades. Built on the real-world diversity of more than 200 nationalities, our biospecimens, longitudinal data, and translational research services support pharma, biotech, academic institutions, and governments in turning data into diagnostics, research into therapies, and evidence into policy.
