We're the world's first fully AI accountancy practice. Accountancy is one of the world’s oldest professions — and also one of the slowest to embrace new technology. While AI is transforming industries at a breakneck pace, many firms are still running on spreadsheets, sticky notes, blood, sweat and tears. So Alexis Kingsbury decided to make a point. He built an accountancy firm staffed entirely by AI in September 2025 in just a few days.  Not “AI-assisted,” not “partly automated” — but 100% artificial colleagues with job titles, responsibilities, headshots, and even personalities. ​ Behind the parody, each AI runs on best practice SOPs, workflows, and automations used by modern accountancy firms today. ​These processes are based on the Accountancy Practice Playbooks that Alexis developed in collaboration with 100+ accountancy leaders. If you are the leader of an accountancy practice, we'd like to challenge (and help) you to improve your ways of working and embrace AI as part of human-in-the-loop processes, to deliver better services to clients and create happier, healthier workplaces. AI won’t replace accountants — but accountants who embrace AI will replace those who don’t. By creating this parody practice, we wanted to show what’s possible, start important conversations, and help firms imagine a future where humans do less firefighting and more of the work that really matters: advising clients, solving problems, and building relationships.
