TRANSFORMING VULNERABILITY INTO LEADERSHIP. RESTORING AGENCY AND OPPORTUNITY
About Aftertomorrow
A national NGO working at the intersection of gender equality, displacement response, social inclusion, and trauma-informed development in Ukraine. Our mission is to transform vulnerability into leadership by restoring agency, capacity, and opportunity for people who are systematically excluded, and embedding trauma-informed, gender-responsive solutions into Ukraine’s recovery. Our vision: A Ukraine where vulnerability does not mean lost potential. A future where displacement does not erase contribution, where women lead reconstruction with authority, and where children from institutional care are recognised as future professionals, creators, and change-makers. AfterTomorrow exists to ensure that vulnerability becomes a starting point — not a destiny. That talent, not origin, determines opportunity. And that Ukraine rebuilds with justice as well as efficiency. WE SERVE > women and girls are systematically excluded from leadership and decision-making. > internally and externally displaced youth whose education and career trajectories have been disrupted; > care-experienced children and adolescents, including approximately 100,000 young people in institutional care. OUR IMPACT Nearly a decade of evidence-based work includes: > 32 million impressions through national and digital campaigns, including one of Ukraine’s most widely viewed TikTok gender-equality initiatives; > 850+ women leaders supported through intensive mentorship and leadership programmes funded by international partners; > 25,000+ young people reached with education, psychosocial tools, and displacement-response programming; > 30+ corporations (covering 30,000+ employees) embedding inclusion into organisational practice; > Four longitudinal research waves conducted, directly informing policy, organisational transformation, and donor strategy > national-level influence through partnerships with international institutions and business networks.
