Before founding Agile Institute, Rob already had decades of real-world software development experience. Starting in 1998, he & his teams used XP & TDD to deliver successful products, including a life-critical transplant-patient tracking application for surgeons, and a Commercial Mortgage-Backed Security (CMBS) investment application for brokers. Rather than lecturing and "Death by PowerPoint," Rob provides targeted workbook activities and immersive coding exercises developed using Sharon Bowman's "Training from the Back of the Room" techniques. Rob will often share a relevant story from first-person experience illustrating team behaviors that led to either success or failure.
