AI Design LA: AI-native design, in practice AI Design LA brings together UX and product designers, design engineers, developers, and design leaders across Southern California exploring how AI is changing the way we design, build, and ship. We go beyond any single tool or workflow, from vibe coding and AI-assisted prototyping to design systems, component generation, agentic experiences, and the bigger question of what it means to build an AI-native design practice and team. We explore: - Vibe coding and AI-assisted prototyping - AI-native design workflows - AI-powered design systems and component generation - Tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Figma Make, and Lovable - Building AI-native design teams and cultures - Responsible AI, authorship, bias, and deskilling - Real-world experiments, case studies, wins, and failures We meet in person across Southern California for casual mixers, demos, lightning talks, and open discussion. The goal is simple: high-signal conversations where practitioners can share what they're actually building, learning, and discovering.
