The American Institute of Certified Tax Planners(AICTP) is the national professional organization certified by the IRS to provide continued education, and the Certified Tax Planner (CTP) designation in the United States. The AICTP’s mission is to provide members with the resources, information and leadership that enable them to provide the most valuable services offered in the tax profession. We provide the training, software, and educational resources for tax professionals to build lucrative tax planning practices providing the highest professional service to the public. Our focus on teaching a proactive tax planning method allows our members to provide a unique service to their clients while also supporting them in implementing changes within their practices. At AICTP we designate members as Certified Tax Planners, provide exclusive content to our member site, train tax professionals in our method of proactive tax planning, offer IRS certified continuing education credits, and provide the software, tools, and support integral in the growth and success of our member's accounting and tax practices.
