About AJAC | Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeships

AJAC is a Washington State–based nonprofit that helps people build long-term careers in manufacturing. We connect employers with highly motivated individuals and provide structured apprenticeship programs that combine paid, on-the-job training with related classroom instruction. AJAC works with companies across industries including aerospace, advanced manufacturing, food processing, and logistics. Our apprentices earn while they learn, gaining real-world experience in roles like machining, maintenance, CNC programming, and operations. Beyond apprenticeship, AJAC offers pre-apprenticeship training through our Manufacturing Academy and provides career navigation support to help individuals take their first steps into the industry. We partner closely with employers, educators, and community organizations to expand access to opportunity and strengthen Washington’s manufacturing workforce. Our goal is simple: help people find stable, well-paying careers while helping employers build and retain skilled teams.
