About Alaska Behavioral Health
Alaska Behavioral Health is the largest community-based mental health provider in the state of Alaska. Our corporation was originally founded in 1974, and has evolved and grown to meet needs across Alaska, with clinics in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Wasilla. Our mission is to strengthen Alaska communities and improve the lives of our clients by providing exceptional behavioral health care. We serve children and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to serious mental illness (SMI). Services include evaluation, psychiatric services/medication management, counseling, skill development, case management, and intensive supports for those who need them. Every day there are stories of children and adults getting better and overcoming the impact of mental illness on their lives.
