Alliance to End Hunger
Building the public and political will to end hunger in the United States and around the world.
About Alliance to End Hunger
Hunger is one of the most solvable problems in the world—yet millions of people in the United States and around the globe still don't know where their next meal is coming from. The Alliance to End Hunger exists to change that. We're a coalition of corporations, nonprofits, faith-based groups, universities, foundations, and individuals who share one conviction: ending hunger is both necessary and possible. Rather than working in silos, we bring these diverse voices together to build the public and political will needed to solve hunger at its roots, not just its symptoms. Our work centers on four things: forging strategic partnerships across sectors, building political commitment, strengthening community-led solutions through our Hunger Free Communities network, and mobilizing advocates who understand hunger as a global challenge, not just a domestic one. In practice, that means convening leaders from business, government, and civil society; equipping grassroots advocates with tools to influence policy; hosting summits and quarterly meetings that connect practitioners nationwide; and sharing the human stories behind the statistics through our Voices to End Hunger podcast. Based in Washington, DC, we work at the intersection of advocacy, partnership, and community action—because ending hunger takes more than any one sector can do alone. Want to help build the will to end hunger? Explore membership, follow our policy work, or reach out to learn how your organization can join the coalition.
