We invented the ball transfer unit in 1941. We've spent every year since making them better. From a single factory in the UK, Alwayse has grown into the world's most comprehensive manufacturer of ball transfer units with over 150 variants in production and customers in more than 70 countries. Our BTUs are engineered for one purpose: precise, omnidirectional movement of heavy and sensitive loads, by hand, without power. From the heavy-duty units carrying multi-tonne ULDs across air cargo terminals, to the nylon-balled units handling architectural glass without leaving a mark, to the stainless steel units running 24-hour shifts in food production — we build the components that move what modern industry can't move any other way. We supply engineers and buyers across air cargo, automotive, glass processing, food and beverage, defence, warehousing, and general manufacturing. Our products are ISO 9001 certified and manufactured in the UK. We hold two Queen's Awards for Enterprise.
