About AMADA - Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency

Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) was established in December 23, 2016 as a national anti-doping organization with the mission of the fight against doping in sport. The core functions of AMADA are affixed to the management and promotion of the National Anti-Doping Program. The Program, primarily, holds in-competition and out-of-competition testing, as well as their further results management process. AMADA keeps the education of the athletes and tripartite detection, deterrence and prevention measures in the essence of the fight against doping in sport. By enlarging the education, AMADA creates awareness in order to discourage the practice of doping in sport among the public and the sporting community. Azərbaycan Milli Antidopinq Agentliyi (AMADA) 2016-cı ildə idmanda dopinqə qarşı mübarizə aparan milli antidopinq agentliyi kimi təsis edilmişdir. AMADA-nın əsas funksiyaları antidopinq proqramının idarəetməsi və təşviqatı, yarışma müddəti və yarışmadan kənar müddətdə testlər keçirmək, sonradan nəticələri emal etmək, idmançıların maarifləndirilməsi, dopinqin aşkarlanması, qarşısının alınması və profilaktikası və cəmiyyət və idman ictimaiyyəti arasında idmanda dopinq istifadəsinin qarşısının alınması məqsədilə məlumatlandırma ilə bağlıdır.
