Taking care of Shipping Business
About Amasus
Welcome to Amasus - Amasus is a full-service shipping office located in the former nautical school and the Abel Tasman National Monument in Delfzijl. Amasus has been engaged for 40 years in chartering and total ship management for a large number of shipping companies, captain/owners and its own vessels. Amasus has at her disposal terminal facilities both at the Eemshaven and Delfzijl. The recent expansion of our fleet, entirely at the service of the chartering department, enables Amasus to offer a wide range of vessels to shippers and contract partners within the market segments selected by Amasus: - Sea-river chartering - Bulk cargoes - General cargoes - Project cargoes - Heavylift cargoes - RoRo (roll-on-roll-off) - Selfdischargers - Offshore - CTV / Utility service We achieve our ambitions by working, in collaboration with our partners, on a fleet structure that is equipped for the above market segments. Amasus takes responsibility, together with our partners, for permanently respecting the natural limits that have been established in our market segments for loading and unloading destinations for industry. Amasus has changed enormously in the past few years. In recent years the number of vessels under the commercial management of Amasus has grown from 10/15 in July 2006 to 75 vessels in 2020. Apart from strengthening our fleet we have radically expanded the Amasus team. Young and experienced people, all nautically and economically trained, have joined us to reinforce and enhance the entrepreneurial spirit we need to achieve our ambitions.
