A Moment of Magic Foundation
A Moment of Magic uses play to spark joy, foster connection, ease isolation, and support children’s mental health.
About A Moment of Magic Foundation
A Moment of Magic is a national nonprofit organization that brings creative play and mental health support to children facing serious illness and adversity. We harness the power of imagination to help kids feel like kids again — even in the midst of medical treatment, trauma, or long hospital stays. Our programs are healing-centered, dignity-driven, and evidence-informed, designed to reduce isolation, improve psychosocial outcomes, and support families navigating some of life’s hardest moments. Led by trained college-student volunteers and rooted in joy and empathy, we offer: ✨ Character visits to hospitals and care centers ✨ Social-emotional learning through creative workshops ✨ Mental health resources for families, caregivers, and clinicians ✨ Trauma-informed training and play-based education for volunteers and community partners Since 2014, we’ve reached over 150,000 medically vulnerable children across the U.S. and Canada through hospital partnerships, school collaborations, and our network of 25+ collegiate chapters. Whether we’re dancing in a hospital hallway or helping a child imagine their way through fear, our mission is simple: to bring moments of magic to the children who need it most. 📍 Serving nationally | 🌟 Partner with us at info@amomentofmagic.org
