Anchor helps families and communities learn to use technology well, together. Most screen time tools fail for the same reason: you can switch them off yourself. A limit you can lift in ten seconds is not a limit, it is a suggestion. Anchor works because someone else is in it with you. You pair with a person you trust. You choose which apps stay open. When you want something outside that, you send them a request and they answer from their own phone. One small moment of asking another person is usually enough, and it turns a private struggle into something two people are doing together. We build two things. Anchor is for adults. Couples, friends, whole families, anyone who wants their phone to be a tool again. It is on iPhone and Android and it works across the two, so you and the person you pair with do not have to be on the same platform. Anchor Kids is a first phone for children, in early access with a small group of families. It runs on an Android phone you already own, so there is no new hardware to buy, and it does calls and texts with the contacts a parent approves. No browser, no app store, no feed. What we will not build matters as much as what we do. The person you pair with sees that your setup is on and the requests you choose to send. They do not see which apps you use, for how long, or what you browse. We would rather make something you stay in because it works than something you cannot get out of. anchorph.one
