About Aprendamos Family of Services
Aprendamos Family of Services is made up of six specialized programs serving children, individuals, and families across Southern New Mexico. Cariño Family Health provides free bilingual home visits and prenatal and postpartum support for families from pregnancy through age five. Unidos Fathering Services offers hands-on classes and resources for new and expecting fathers focused on parenting and baby-care skills. Aprendamos Early Intervention provides services at no cost to families for children from birth to age three with developmental delays or disabilities. Esperanza Children’s Therapy provides speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy for children ages 3–18. Mariposa Autism Service Center provides evidence-based ABA and autism services for children and young adults ages 2–21. Alegría Family Counseling provides confidential counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Aprendamos Family of Services is proud to be a values-based organization guided by Families First, Integrity Always, Pursuit of Excellence, Meaningful Difference, and Shaping the Future. What began more than 20 years ago as a single early intervention program with a small team has grown in response to the needs of children and families throughout Southern New Mexico. Today, Aprendamos includes six specialized programs, more than 300 team members, and has supported more than 10,000 children. Our growth has always been driven by the needs of the families and communities we serve. We are proud to foster a diverse and inclusive organization built around compassionate, culturally responsive care. We know there is always more to learn and improve, and every day we strive to make a meaningful difference for children, families, and the future of our communities.
