About Aquality Halmstad

Aquality Halmstad is a Swedish project-based education program at Halmstad University. A project to design, manufacture, and run water monitoring systems to detect any form of pollution and anomalies within Swedish waters. The CatFish team is currently constructing the fully autonomous and electric uncrewed surface vehicle (USV). The data collected within the operation will help water coordinators and councils increase the understanding of the local water bodies and improve their decision-making regarding water management to achieve environmental standard compliance in Sweden. The headquarters of CatFish is located in Halmstad, Sweden. The team consists of talented students who have a true passion for technology, innovation, and sustainability. The two founders of CatFish are Harvey Blanco and Alireza Esmailzadeh.
