IPA is a membership organisation representing independently owned community pharmacy businesses. Our members represent a significant number of pharmacies across the UK, delivering primary healthcare and advice to their local communities. IPA is a key voice for independent pharmacies - we engage with politicians, policy makers, the NHS and local government stakeholders to influence decisions about community pharmacy provision, services and remuneration. Our CEO Dr Leyla Hannbeck, a pharmacist herself, is the main spokesperson for the community pharmacy sector in the media and has played a key role in significantly boosting the profile of the community pharmacies in the national media and to decision makers.
