AXA Climate, an entity of the AXA group, was founded to help both private and public players adapt to climate and environmental challenges. We are over 250 people providing support through insurance, consulting, and software solutions. Addressing climate adaptation only through risk management is a dead end. Adapting means embracing a systemic view of risks—both environmental and social—and understanding how they are interconnected. Adapting is about recognizing the unique realities of local contexts fostering cooperation among stakeholders, beyond individual interests. Adapting is essential to ensure the long-term viability of our communities and businesses. Adapting also means not forgetting the importance of making bold strides to reduce our emissions significantly—and doing so with urgency.
