About BASIS International Schools
BASIS International Schools is a part of the BASIS Curriculum network of schools in the United States and worldwide. The first BASIS International School opened in Shenzhen, China in 2015 as the largest opening of an international school in south China history. Our network of schools continues to expand with BASIS International School Guangzhou opening in 2017, BASIS International School Park Lane Harbour and Hangzhou in 2018, BASIS International School Nanjing and BASIS International School Bangkok in 2019. The first bilingual school in our network opened in September 2020: BASIS Bilingual School Shenzhen. In 2022, BASIS International & Bilingual Schools Chengdu became our first campus to house both international and bilingual programs. BASIS International & Bilingual Schools Wuhan opened in 2023, and in 2024 we opened two campuses dedicated exclusively to Early Childhood Education in Shenzhen: BASIS Bilingual Kindergarten Nanshan and BASIS Bilingual Kindergarten Futian. We also opened a second bilingual campus in Shenzhen, BASIS Bilingual School Guangming Shenzhen, in 2024 as well. 2026 will be an exciting year for our network as we open our Beijing campus, as well as a bilingual campus in Guangzhou. We are committed to raising the bar in international education by combining teaching freedom with academic rigor. BASIS Curriculum teachers are experts who love teaching and inspiring students to have that same love of learning, and they are the foundation upon which all BASIS Curriculum Schools are built. BASIS International School teachers are treated as true professionals, and the BASIS Curriculum provides the framework through which BASIS International School teachers are empowered to express their expertise.
