The BDA is the umbrella organization for the social and economic policy interests of the entire German economy. Because we are firmly anchored in the companies, we are the authentic voice of German employers - in Europe and worldwide. We bring together the interests of one million companies with around 20 million employees. These companies are linked to the BDA through voluntary membership in employers' associations. We are committed to ensuring that companies in Germany can invest, drive innovation, and create jobs and training positions. This is in line with our responsibility to society as a whole and is the essential contribution that employers make to the social market economy, to democracy and security and to social prosperity.
