BioQuoVadis is a molecular diagnostics company developing a first-in-class liquid biopsy test to identify treatment-resistant prostate cancer. Today, there is no reliable diagnostic test that directly detects the emergence of treatment resistance; clinicians typically rely on indirect signals such as PSA, imaging, and clinical progression, which may identify resistance only after an important therapeutic window has narrowed. BioQuoVadis’ proprietary ABI1 biomarker is designed to detect molecular evidence of treatment resistance earlier, creating an opportunity for physicians to adjust therapy, intensify monitoring, consider chemotherapy, or refer patients to clinical trials while there may still be an opportunity to delay or prevent progression to metastatic disease.
