Black Donuts is a global tire technology and engineering partner supporting tire manufacturers from development to industrial implementation. Since 2011, we have worked with 20 of the world’s top 25 tire manufacturers across tire development, material innovation, testing, factory engineering and production development. Our tire and material expertise covers new tire development, product optimization, simulation, compound and material development, and testing across all tire categories and applications. Our capabilities include: Greenfield projects - For new factories, we support projects from technical studies and factory planning through engineering, implementation, ramp-up and production. Brownfield projects - For existing factories, we support factory auditing, brownfield development, process optimization, digitalization and production improvement. Tire development – From concept, simulation and material development through prototyping, testing and production readiness. InTire Labs – Material research, compound development, laboratory testing and preparation of new materials for tire applications. Nemus – A premix of natural rubber (NR) and microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) — developed as a bio-based reinforcement solution for tire compounds and designed for drop-in use. It supports the development of more sustainable tire compounds and their transition toward industrial application. BD Testing – Accredited tire performance testing supporting tire development and validation. Our digital capabilities include simulation, digital twin modeling and OnTire MES, all developed specifically for tire manufacturing. By combining tire, material, testing, process and factory expertise, we help customers make better technical decisions, reduce project risk and move efficiently from concept to industrial production.
