A “Black Elephant” combines the idea of the elephant in the room with that of a black swan. It describes a crisis that is obvious and significant, yet collectively ignored—until it erupts as a high-impact, system-shaping event, later reframed as unforeseeable. Many organizations are stuck in incrementalism, attempting to solve today’s challenges with yesterday’s mindsets. In a world of increasing complexity and volatility, leaders must step into new paradigms of working and relating—not only to survive, but to truly thrive. We design processes and experiences that build the capacities and life competencies needed to navigate this shift. We also work with impact-driven and regenerative investors and businesses to help them realise their vision.
