Brand van Egmond was founded by William Brand in 1989. Graduated from the School of Arts as an architect and sculptor, he wanted to create with complete autonomy. The atelier, based in The Netherlands, is currently presented in 90 countries across the globe. William believes spaces - and people - deserve a lighting sculpture that evokes emotions and adds character. His clientele is as eclectic as his collections: ranging from Royals to Rappers. His work is used with the same ease in some of Europe oldest castles, as in the latest hotels and on yachts. While they are effortlessly applied in different styles of interiors, they are always inspirational and characterful. Working hand in hand with architects around the world, some of the most beautiful projects of the atelier have been realised. Every collection can be customised into any dimension. Besides, there is also the truly unique possibility of creating a commissioned lighting sculpture. Given their artisan approach towards lighting, it comes as no surprise that luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Chopard and the W Hotel have embraced the work of Brand van Egmond for their public spaces.
