Bravo Zulu House is declaring war on Veteran PTSD.
About Bravo Zulu House
Every Veteran deserves a place to heal and rebuild. Bravo Zulu House is declaring war on PTSD by creating Veterans-only sober living homes for those rebuilding their lives after addiction treatment and confronting the invisible wounds of service. Based in Winnebago, Minnesota, Bravo Zulu House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded to fill a critical gap in Veteran recovery: safe, structured, post-treatment housing that supports sobriety while addressing PTSD, mental health, physical wellness, connection, and long-term healing. The Winnebago Men’s House opened in May 2025 and serves male Veterans in a supportive, home-like environment. Through a whole-person recovery model, residents have access to peer support, accountability, counseling, wellness resources, dog therapy, and healthcare support through a partnership with Mayo Clinic Health System. Bravo Zulu House is now advancing its next mission: America’s first all-military sober home for women Veterans struggling with PTSD, addiction, and trauma. The future Women’s House is planned for Mankato, Minnesota, with a goal of opening in Fall 2027. Our work is made possible by Veterans, donors, volunteers, healthcare partners, construction partners, community leaders, and monthly supporters through Team Shield. Together, we are building more than houses. We are building places of hope, healing, accountability, and restored purpose for those who served.
