Founded in 1961 with a mission to foster growth and fulfillment for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, Brightway Living & Learning has spent sixty-five years leading the way in human services and serving families across Long Island. Throughout its history, including decades of transformative service as the Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI), the organization has evolved into Brightway, supporting more than 1,600 children and adults through a comprehensive continuum of care.
