About British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic

The British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic has been working since 1997 to strengthen business ties between the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic, promoting trade, growth and the creation of new business opportunities. The Chamber’s membership encompasses a broad spectrum of over 200 British, Czech and international companies, and we work closely with all of these members to provide individualised support and market expertise. As a hub of the Czech business community, we host an extensive programme of events designed to foster new connections within our member network and beyond. We also provide a platform for professional development and business education, advancing the exchange of relevant knowledge through our comprehensive series of presentations and workshops. The Chamber’s British Business Centre works alongside UK Government to deliver on-demand trade services for UK companies. The Chamber is fully accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). We are a Quality Standard Certified Chamber of the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE). For the first time in the history of our Chamber, we have been awarded the Chamber of the Year 2017 by the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE). The award ceremony highlighted our individual approach to our members, group work on key areas, Britishness and promoting British interests, and our CSR mentoring programme, Equilibrium. We are also the proud recipients of COBCOE’s 2015 and 2016 Small Chamber of the Year Award, given in recognition of our diverse calendar of events, the personalised attention we provide to our members, and our success in promoting British values. The BCC Czech Republic has a long tradition of promoting CSR activities in the Czech Republic. We run educational seminars, provide a forum for members to exchange their experiences and successes, and have a long tradition of supporting charitable causes.
