The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) is the voice of dyslexic people in the UK. Since 1972, we have worked to create a world that unlocks the full potential of dyslexic people by improving understanding, challenging barriers and providing practical support. We believe every dyslexic person deserves to be understood, valued and given the opportunity to thrive. We work with individuals, families, educators, employers and policymakers to improve outcomes at every stage of life. Our work includes: • Provide trusted information, advice and support through our Helpline and extensive online resources. • Deliver expert training and professional development for education and workplace professionals. • Support schools and organisations to become dyslexia-friendly through expert guidance and services. • Influence policy and campaign for change to ensure dyslexic people receive the support they need. • Share research, lived experience and guidance to build greater awareness and understanding of dyslexia. Each year we support thousands of people directly and reach more than one million through our resources, campaigns, training and partnerships.
