About British Ports Association
The British Ports Association is a national trade body for UK ports, represents the interests of over 400 ports, terminal operators and port facilities. Collectively our members facilitate 86% of the country’s seaborne trade, all the UK’s maritime passenger activities, and the overwhelming majority of Britain’s energy, fishing and recreational ports and harbours. As our membership comprises many ports, terminal operators and port facilities, all of varying size, location and nature, the Association is able to draw upon a wide range of experience and knowledge to represent its members’ interests.
