About Bryte Legacies Foundation

Bryte Legacies Foundation is a non-profit organization, born out of the Legacy of Love left from Ruta A. Doster-Walker and the "do it my way" character of Stephen B. Walker. Ruta lost her battle with Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma in March 2021, and Stephen lost his battle from complications due to Diabetes in August 2023. Ruta was an amazing, bright light of love, courage, and strength and her light continues to shine so brightly through those that she loved and cared for throughout her life. Stephen's quick wit and humor, entrepreneurial spirit and strength of will are missed by those who knew him. Our Founder, Stefanie B. Lomax, is the daughter of these two amazing parents. This foundation was created to honor them. We, at Bryte Legacies Foundation wish to carry these torches of love forward and continue to celebrate the lives and legacies of those impacted by Lymphoma and Diabetes by raising awareness and celebrating through fundraising so that those impacted by and suffering from these diseases have a life filled with love and a legacy full of impactful, long lasting meaning.
