The Buffalo Niagara Human Resource Association (BNHRA) is the pre-eminent human resource professional organization in Western New York. We are a group of diverse professionals involved in a variety of leadership and support roles within the human resource management profession. BNHRA understands the lives of today's professionals are busier than ever, and finding the time to create a network is sometimes difficult. BNHRA, formerly known as the Niagara Frontier Chapter of SHRM, was founded by a small group of local personnel managers and university professors in 1974. The goal was to provide open communication, networking and information to others in the same profession. Today, BNHRA represents the interests of more than 600+ professional and student members, representing more than 300,000 employees within the Western New York community. BNHRA is an affiliate chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest human resource management association.
