By Landmark is rooted in sincerity and the belief that hospitality is about creating meaningful connections with our guests, Memorymakers, and the communities we serve. Through engaged service, personalized celebrations, and a culture shaped by food, music, art, design, and experiences, we bring people together in moments that matter. Founded by husband and wife duo Jeanne and Frank Cretella, hospitality has always been at the heart of Landmark. Together since they were twelve and married for more than 40 years, they built their careers around creating iconic destinations, including The Boat House in Central Park, Lundy’s in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, and American Park in Battery Park, NYC. In 2001, they began a new chapter in New Jersey, bringing their passion for hospitality with them. By Landmark was created with deep gratitude for the state they now call home. In 2015, their daughter Maddy joined the company, helping lead the continued growth of By Landmark. Together, the trio remains focused on people, exceptional experiences, relationships, and celebrations. By Landmark is proud to be recognized as a New Jersey Women Business Enterprise. The Stork Club, By Landmark’s private membership program, extends our hospitality beyond a single visit, offering exclusive access and benefits across our restaurants, hotels, and event destinations. Giving back has always been central to our mission. Through Help Us Give (H.U.G.), we support local communities and empower youth. In 2019, Jeanne and Frank launched the Art of Hospitality Workers Alliance, a nonprofit school dedicated to supporting hospitality professionals through education, mentorship, career development, and financial assistance. For two decades, By Landmark has created some of the region’s most celebrated restaurants, wedding venues, and hotels.
