About By The Hand Club For Kids
By The Hand is a Christ-centered, after-school program that emphasizes academic excellence while nurturing the whole child—mind, body and soul. Strategically located in Chicago’s most under-resourced neighborhoods, By The Hand has after-school programs in Altgeld-Murray, Austin, Cabrini-Green, Englewood and North Austin. We partner with 17 Chicago Public Schools, and children are recommended by local principals who are failing in reading.
