About CAHP Credit Union

Founded in 1969 as an exclusive organization, CAHP Credit Union was originally formed to serve employees and members of the California Association of Highway Patrolmen (the Association). In the 1990s, the CAHP Credit Union expanded eligibility to include other members of California’s law enforcement community, namely through the Peace Officers Research Association of California – PORAC. Our mission has remained constant throughout the years. We are devoted to helping officers and their families keep more of their money, maintain a high credit score, and stay on the road to financial freedom. And we are as deeply committed to serving you as you are to protecting and serving the public.
