Carbonology was founded in 2024 with a simple premise: the carbon accumulating in our atmosphere is not just a problem to be solved, it is a resource to be used. Using direct air capture (DAC) powered by renewable electricity, we convert atmospheric CO₂ into synthetic products: sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF), fertilizers, and industrial chemicals that underpin modern life, closing the carbon cycle for industries that cannot electrify their way to net zero. Our process is vertically integrated (DAC, power generation, and synthesis are co-located) and our AI-enabled flexible process design lets us run chemical synthesis on intermittent renewable power, making 100% renewable-powered synthesis viable at commercial scale. Starting in China, where the world's cheapest renewable energy and deepest clean manufacturing supply chain make the economics work, Carbonology is building toward global deployment at the scale the problem demands.
