The CareerKonnector Mentor Alliance is a network that connects students and recent graduates with experienced industry professionals from hospitality, tourism, retail, and people-driven service industries. Purpose driven and built on the belief that human connection and care transforms careers. The initiative is designed to support early career professionals as they transition from academic life into the professional world, offering real-world guidance, confidence, and industry insight at an early career stage. Through one-to-one mentoring relationships, students gain access to experienced leaders who act as trusted sparring partners, helping them navigate expectations, workplace cultures, and early professional experiences. Mentors are experienced professionals and leaders from industries where human connection, service excellence and emotional intelligence are central, including: • Hospitality and hotel management • Tourism and travel • Retail and customer-facing services • Other service-driven industries The Mentors are offering their services for the 8 week program pro-bono, driven by a joint passion to support early career professionals, by passing on their knowledge, expertise and real- life practical experience. They are guided by a deep passion for the service industry, their international mindset, their interest in equally learning from the next generation and sincere care for people. The program supports students and graduates at two key moments: • Primarily upon graduation, as they enter the workforce for the first time • Optional during an internship, as part of their academic program, if supported by the school Structure & Offering Each mentoring relationship includes 1 introductory session and 3 dedicated sessions in a time frame of 8 weeks. The matching can either be facilitated by the universities' career services, and interested students can also connect with a mentor of their choice directly.
