About CatalytiQ Capital

CatalytiQ Capital is an emerging markets private investment platform built to close the $5.7 trillion financing gap facing small and medium enterprises across Africa and Asia-Pacific. Capital is abundant — it's just not flowing to the right opportunities. Banks structurally under lend to women-led SMEs due to information asymmetry, collateral constraints, and institutional risk frameworks built for a different era. We are changing that architecture. We deploy two complementary instruments: venture credit (senior secured term loans, revenue-based financing, and receivables structures) and catalytic capital (first-loss tranches and patient subordinated debt that de-risk investment for institutional LPs). Together, they create a structured pathway from risk absorption to yield generation. Our geographic focus is Indonesia, Nigeria, and Rwanda — markets where our founding team has on-the-ground experience, regulatory relationships, and sourced pipeline. We target 5 sectors: agri & food, trade & supply chain, sustainable fashion, healthcare services, and renewable energy/ climate resilience. Fund I targets $30M AUM with a 5-year deployment goal of $150–300M. Each deal supports 8,000–15,000 jobs across the fund cycle, with women representing 43%+ of enterprise employees. CatalytiQ Capital is being built by three Harvard Kennedy School-trained founders with backgrounds in impact investing, development finance, consulting, policy, and capital markets across Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. We don't just invest in businesses. We build financial infrastructure for economies the current system was never designed to serve.
