About NATO Civil-Military Cooperation Centre of Excellence (CCOE)

The CCOE is the champion for multinational CMI and CIMIC concepts, training, and education. Operating primarily under NATO auspices, we assist NATO, our Sponsoring Nations, and international organizations (like the UN and EU) in their operational and transformational efforts. Key Roles & Responsibilities: NATO Custodian: Driving the development and implementation of NATO CIMIC Doctrine. NATO Department Head: Leading Education & Training (E&T) for CMI and CIMIC, serving as the key process supporter for the Joint Force Trainer at ACT. Global Collaborator: Expanding perspectives beyond NATO to engage with diverse stakeholders in the civil and military arena. Our Training Portfolio: We have designed a holistic CMI/CIMIC landscape featuring modular training products—ranging from foundational courses to specialist certifications, all embedded in a modern ADL context.
