The Center for Critical Infrastructure & Security (CCIS) is a Maryland-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the systems and services that keep communities safe and functioning. We support state, local, tribal, and territorial governments; critical infrastructure operators; nonprofits; education systems; healthcare facilities; and community organizations through specialized programs in cybersecurity, emerging technology, physical security, and emergency preparedness. CCIS bridges the gap between law, technology, and public safety, providing training, technical assistance, program development, and real-world support to organizations of all sizes. Our mission is to protect what matters most: the people, infrastructure, and essential services that power and sustain our communities.
