About SUMIT - Center for information technologies

Centar za informacijske tehnologije Sveučilišta u Mostaru osnovan je u cilju pružanja podrške obrazovnoj i akademskoj zajednici u upotrebi informacijsko - komunikacijskih tehnologija i osiguranja pristupa novim tehnologija i informacijskim uslugama. U ispunjavanju misije i vizije SUMIT-a od velikog su značaja partnerske institucije s kojima SUM ima dugogodišnju suradnju. Tu prije svega držimo važnom suradnju s HT-om Mostar, Hrvatskom akademskom i istraživačkom mrežom CARNet, Sveučilišnim računskim centrom (SRCE) i fakultetima koji se bave problematikom razvojem informacijskih sustava. Također je važna suradnja i sa lokalnim, pouzdanim IT tvrtkama. Center for information technologies of the University of Mostar was established with the aim of providing support to the educational and academic community in the use of information and communication technologies and ensuring access to new technologies and information services. In fulfilling the mission and vision of SUMIT, the partner institutions that the University of Mostar cooperate with are of great importance. Here, above all, we emphasize the importance of cooperation with HT Mostar, the Croatian academic and research network CARNet, the University Computing Center (SRCE) and faculties dealing with the development of information systems. Cooperation with local, reliable IT companies is also important.
