About Center for Sports Business Tegernsee (CSBT)

The Center for Sports Business Tegernsee (CSBT) is a center of excellence that brings together competence in business, sports and academia with the mission of structurally professionalizing the industry while keeping the culture of European sport at its core. It was co-initiated by Manuel Neuer in 2025 and is supported by a board of business and sports leaders. The Center is home to: THE BOARD: The Board is an expert panel from business, sports and academia. It works to advise on revenue streams, establish governance standards, and identify investment priorities, from infrastructure to innovation projects and therby forms the foundation of the CSBT’s work. THE RESEARCH CENTER: The Research Center analyzes structural and business model developments in the sports industry and supports the Board’s work by preparing finance- and governance-related insights and frameworks. THE ACADEMY: The Academy offers a selective executive program for emerging leaders and channels the insights of the Board and Research Center into the industry. It is supported by fgs global, Bain & Company and FC Bayern Munich.
