About Chancen International

Chancen International is a financial inclusion non-profit closing the $40 billion annual education financing gap in Africa and tackling the continent’s growing skills shortage. We enable underserved youth—especially women, rural and low-income (from <$2/day households)—to access quality higher education aligned with the jobs of the future. To date, we have financed 9,000+ youths across Rwanda, Kenya, South Africa and Ghana. We believe in a world where young people can fulfill their potential in their studies, in the workplace, and in their communities. Our mission is to increase the lifetime income of excluded youth by 5x through our ethical education finance and our goal is to finance 60,000 students by 2029.
