Charter Global was initially launched to provide a service to architects and building designers enabling them to incorporate security shutters into architectural designs without compromising the aesthetics of the building or the performance of the security shutter. Since then, Charter Global has grown to become an industry leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of premium security shutter solutions across a wide variety of building types and security risk profiles, all around the globe. Driven by product innovation and the need for higher certification levels in some of the most challenging and sensitive security sites, our achievements include: • the first ever LPS 1175; Issue 7 SR5 for security shutters introduced to the UK market and now upgraded to Issue 8 E20. • design and manufacture of the world’s first and only security shutters independently certified to LPS 1175 Issue 8 G5, G10 and G15 category. • the only UK company to hold security certification for shutters from the US Department of State. • certification from the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) for our Obexion MD XR shutter.
