Fractional offerings provide expertise without a full-time hire, including strategy, operations, search, ombuds, fundraising, and more. Alongside executive placements, Building Community is our civic social enterprise addressing gaps and silos in Austin's civic infrastructure for corporate volunteering, nonprofit capacity, and community belonging. Fractional and innovative Community Engagement support across causes and neighbors to create connection. Camps, convenings, and team engagement sessions to bring together corporate and nonprofit partners. There is a special emphasis on working in the gaps to meeting people where they are at, authentically. Another backbone project: Building Belonging: a Universal Design Learning-based framework for designing inclusive engagement and belonging across organizations, teams, and communities. It brings both a methodology and also the opportunity to bring together participants with varied abilities and lived experience alongside corporate and community members, with participants trained as co-facilitators: a model applicable across volunteer programs, team building, and broader organizational engagement work.
