About Children Across America
Children Across America is a Milford, Massachusetts–based nonprofit dedicated to providing free educational and family-support programs for underserved children and families. Our core programs include Saturday STREAM, Summer STREAM, and Girls Love to Code, serving children ages 4–11 through hands-on learning in science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and math. We focus on building confidence, early literacy, problem-solving skills, and equal access to opportunities that many children would not otherwise receive. We also support families through child safety initiatives, including car seat safety education, and community-based resources such as dignity essentials for women and teens in need. At the heart of our mission is a simple belief: A child who reads becomes an adult who thinks. At our core, reading comprehension and technology competencies are the focus of our programs.
