We support children who lost parents to war. Building stability. Investing in their future through long-term commitment
About Children of Heroes Charity Fund
Children of Heroes Fund provides comprehensive, structured, full-cycle, long-term support for children in Ukraine who have lost one or both parents to war. This support is not delivered as isolated assistance. It is built as a system that ensures each child can continue their development with stability, education, and a clear path forward. Our programmes combine psychological support, case management, education and development, humanitarian and medical assistance, and continuous guidance for families. Each child is supported over time, with a coordinated structure that adapts to their needs and stage of development. This continuity is what defines full-cycle support in practice. Each stage of support is interconnected. Psychological stabilisation creates the conditions for engagement. Case management provides consistency and individual direction. Education programmes build skills, confidence, and long-term opportunities. Without this structure, progress is fragmented. With it, children are able to return to learning, participate, and move forward. We work directly with children and their families across Ukraine, providing support that is tracked, adapted, and documented over time. This creates clear, measurable outcomes for partners, a systemic understanding of how support works in practice for media, and a reliable, dignified structure that families can depend on. Our approach is grounded in a clear principle: supporting children who have lost parents is a long-term investment in Ukraine’s future. Children who receive comprehensive, structured support are able to continue their development and contribute to the country’s recovery over time. Children of Heroes Fund operates in Ukraine and internationally, with entities in the United States and the Netherlands, and works with partners who approach comprehensive support for children as a long-term commitment. Investing in children today means shaping Ukraine’s future.
