At Children’s Nebraska, our mission is to improve the life of every child through exceptional care, advocacy, research and education. As the region’s only freestanding pediatric health system, we are committed to delivering world-class expertise close to home — from primary care to more than 50 pediatric specialty services serving families across a five-state region and beyond. Children’s is home to Nebraska’s only Level IV regional neonatal intensive care unit, the state’s first and only Level I pediatric trauma center, and Nebraska’s only nationally ranked Level 4 epilepsy center dedicated exclusively to children. We are proud to be recognized as a 2025-26 Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report, ranked among the nation’s best in nephrology, neurology and neurosurgery, and pulmonology and lung surgery.
