CHOICE Humanitarian is an international nonprofit that strengthens community-led solutions to rural poverty. For more than 40 years, we have worked alongside rural communities in some of the world’s most underserved regions—supporting local communities and leaders as they define priorities, build capacity, and connect to the resources needed for lasting change. Our work focuses on five areas of well-being: agriculture, education, economic opportunity, health and nutrition, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). We believe lasting progress happens when communities have the voice, ability, and access to shape their future. This is The CHOICE Way—our unique, integrated approach. Through this, we strengthen the conditions that allow communities to create durable, locally led progress and sustained well-being. Today, CHOICE works across Latin America, Africa, and Asia with about 100 global staff and thousands of local community members, supporters, partners, and advocates helping advance this mission. Over 2 million lives have been touched through more than 2,000 community-led projects across 750+ rural communities.
